The Choker Revival
The latest to make a fashion return to the streets of Sydney and beyond, is what we all know as ‘The Choker’.
A child of the 90’s myself I used to wear multiple plastic, tattoo-looking chokers. I was not as cool (as I thought) as poster child Drew Barrymore, Winona Ryder and Clueless star, Alicia Silverstone who worked the look effortlessly.
Amongst flannel, torn denim, Dr Martens and ruby red lips, the choker was right up there with them in the must-have trends. Evolved throughout the year’s today’s chokers are bands made of gold, copper and silver.
